The University of Texas at Dallas has undergone an unprecedented building boom the past 10 years. Ensuring new construction and existing buildings are energy efficient is the only way to maintain the growing campus. Sustainability projects such as a Monarch Waystation, Prairie Restoration, Community Garden and an Apiary are all part of Greening UT Dallas. The campus has 7 LEED Buildings – from the state’s first LEED Platinum building in Higher Education to a top engineering research facility. An award winning $50 million dollar landscape enhancement project has transformed the feel of campus. Come see it all on the UT Dallas Sustainability Tour.
