Announcing SECO Scholarship Competition for CATEE 2016 for Local Government Employees
The State Energy Conservation Office will provide complimentary registrations to a limited number of municipal and county government officials/employees to attend the CATEE 2016 Conference. CATEE 2016 has a focus on energy efficiency and air quality, as well as renewable energy workshops and sessions oriented toward local government opportunities.
Eligible applicants should be municipal or county government employees directly involved in any area dealing with facility building maintenance and operations, environmental (air, water, transportation, energy) planning, building permitting and planning officials/ inspectors, building programs coordinators, project managers and/or facility architects and engineers. Interested government employees should complete the scholarship application by November 30, 2016. Applications can be found on the SECO Scholarship page. Malcolm Verdict Memorial Poster Contest
The ESL announces the inaugural Malcolm Verdict Memorial Poster Contest at the 2016 CATEE Conference! Up to 20 original posters, submitted by undergraduate and graduate students, will be chosen for the competition. There will be a poster session on Wednesday, December 21st, 2016 where students will present their work to conference attendees.

The Energy Systems Laboratory would like to introduce the new CATEE Conference Manager, Angie Rowell
The ESL is excited to welcome Angie Rowell as the new CATEE Conference Manager! Many of you may recognize Angie’s name as she is actually the original CATEE Conference Manager, organizing both the 2006 (before it was formally named CATEE) and the 2007 (the very FIRST CATEE conference!) events! Angie has been with the TAMU system for over 17 years and offers several years of conference planning experience to CATEE!
