The Electric Utility Marketing Managers of Texas (EUMMOT) is a voluntary organization of electric investor-owned utilities formed to address utility industry energy efficiency issues. As directly by the 76th Texas Legislature under Senate Bill 7, each utility within EUMMOT offers energy efficiency programs to its customers in order to reduce peak demand and save energy. EUMMOT’s website, TexasEfficiency.com, describes the energy efficiency program offerings for each utility and provides both customers and project sponsors details on how to participate.
